Disclaimer

Effective Date: September 6, 2026

This Disclaimer applies to the Quiet Light app and to quietlight.app. It is part of our Terms of Service. If anything here conflicts with mandatory consumer law in your country, that law controls.

Not medical or mental-health care

Quiet Light is a contemplative AI companion for personal reflection. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or mental-health condition. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, coaching with a licensed professional, or a crisis line. Nothing in the app, on this site, or in our marketing is medical advice.

We do not claim that using Quiet Light will reduce anxiety, depression, stress, or any other condition, or that it will produce any particular wellness outcome. Any sense of calm or insight is personal and not guaranteed.

Not a medical device

Quiet Light has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulator as a medical device. Do not use it in place of care from a licensed clinician.

AI can be wrong

Responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or inappropriate. They are not the views of Dagaz Apps LLC. You are solely responsible for what you do with any output. Do not rely on the app for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.

Crisis and emergencies

The app cannot see you, cannot dispatch help, and cannot replace a human in a crisis. If you are in distress:

Grounding language that sometimes appears in the app is not a clinical intervention.

No professional relationship

Using Quiet Light does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or attorney–client relationship. Companions (Quiet Light, Quiet Sun, Quiet Moon) are fictional personas implemented in software.

Website and marketing

Words such as “mindfulness,” “meditation,” “stillness,” and “companion” describe a style of software, not a certified health program. Store listings, this site, and social posts are general information. They do not expand our duties beyond the Terms.

Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the risk of using the Services. Liability is further limited in the Terms of Service.
